The red rock mesas towered overhead, shimmering with stardust in the brilliant light of the sun. I didn’t know where I was or exactly who else was there. Still I could feel our connectedness, the wonder and well-being, harmony and love, weaving everyone and everything together.
This exquisite sensation was in the glistening red rocks embraced by the turquoise sky. The loving sensation was in the air, tangible and breathable, emanating from every little bit. Pure aliveness. Belonging. Togetherness. Home.
As my eyes sensed the sunrise drifting through my bedroom window, the dream began fading away. I didn’t want to leave that place. The world of my dreams was what I longed for, what I wanted in this life, what I was seeking to experience, build, and share.
As my awareness drew more fully into the physical world, I distinctly heard three words that named a particular city and state. Never before had I been given a geographic location when waking up out of a dream. Did that place actually exist? I was hungry to find out more.
After dreaming that magical dream ten years ago, I rustled through paper maps, typed away to search the internet, and held ceremony to receive guidance. Soon I packed up my car to head out on the first of a few roadtrips to connect with the places shown, felt, and named in the world of my dreams.
The dream offered an invitation to touch memories carried in human consciousness and in the body of our Earth. These blueprints carry information about the ways balance and respectful regard for life have been lived in ancestral human lineages. Sacred designs are also held in the shimmering red rocks and all sorts of other species on Earth. Blueprints for life are spiraling around in our Sun, Milky Way Galaxy, and Cosmos.
The dream offered an invitation to set off on spiritual quests of exploration, learning, healing, reconciliation, and love, in the physical landscapes and in my inner world. In my heart of hearts, I knew it wasn’t about stopping at that point of yearning for what existed in the dream or some other time and place. It was about following the passions of the heart, responding to the callings, and feeding the hungers rather than silence, ignore, judge, and pretend.
The dream offered an invitation to awaken, now, the rememberings of harmony and love, balance and well-being, and respect-filled relationships. To live these ancient blueprints and sacred designs in everyday moments of everyday life. To bring this alive on our earth at this time.
Whales and Hummingbirds follow ancestral maps that have been carried in their consciousness through millions of years. These inner maps, these collectively-held blueprints, guide migrations through thousands of miles of waters and lands.
Inner blueprints and sacred designs guide Salmon and Sea Turtles to return to their birthplaces to leave their eggs, holding the promise for the continuance of life.
The knowings carried within are trusted ancient sources that Spiders and Mycelium rely on for guidance to construct their webs ~ in relationship with their particular ecosystems, with the changing seasons, and the diverse expressions of life all around.
So follow the dreams of harmony in relationships, the de-colonized, crystal clear, unconditional knowings of who you really are and how life can naturally be.
Hold close the rememberings of blueprints and sacred designs for building your life and our world with integrity, freedom, and love that has no bounds.
This is all-encompassing offering
a legacy
an enduring gift
that ripples on and on through space and time
touching everyone living now
honoring those who have been before
and shaping pathways and possibilities for all the generations to come.
