Elders are appreciated as birthers of generations,

as lineage-carriers, story-holders, and guides for their people.

They walk close with death, with the spirit realms and the earth,

nourishing life while holding visions and blueprints for what can be.

In our contemporary society that fights against age-ing and divides and isolates people,

becoming an elder who steadily walks their path, who openly shares their heart-centered knowings,

is a transformative journey that begins on the inside.
